Comic-Con International: San Diego is the biggest comic convention in the world. Those lucky enough to make the pilgrimage to this comic book Mecca make memories they hold with them forever. Nothing is more true than for those retailers who come back year after year. Many think that SDCC starts on July 19th but for retailers and vendors and publishers and fans, it starts long before that.
July 15th (T minus eight days to transpo)
• Got our yearly pre-SDCC-clothes
• I got some nice sweats that were next to some corduroy pants that reminded me of the green shorts I got last year and wore at the show everyday
• downloaded the pdf of the map and went through each booth writing down which ones I want to visit
• plotted a mental map of the quickest way to get from our booth (2001) to the HRO booth (4337)
• Walk out entrance C and book it entrance E then walk past the Nickelodeon booth to the farthest thorofare then walk two booths to the left.
• Hro are DC trading cards that also come with digital NFTs you can redeem on the app. They are super cool if you want to check them out. This is my niche.
July 16th (T minus seven days to transpo)
• woke up bright and early to go to the dentist so my smile sparkles in all the picture were gonna take
• read Absolute Power #1 in preparation so I know what is going on at the show DC wise. Holy crap this event is unbelievable.
• We pulled the dolly out of its bear cave in the garage so that we could pump up the tires to make it easier to roll the comics around
• I went to football to get PUMPED so I don’t need the dolly and carry two long boxes up at a time
July 17th (T minus six days to transpo)
